A Statement on retouching:
My goal is to always preserve the natural beauty of the subject in the photo. My general rule of thumb is if it will be present on the subject in a month, keep it. If it won't, edit it out. For example, for skin retouching I may edit acne flare ups, dry skin, or bruises, but will keep features such as freckles and birthmarks.
